3rds in Plate final.
This saturday our 3rd team will take on St Andrews Uni in the final of the plate. The 3rds are a great mix of youth and experience led by Maggie Laverick. The match is 1pm DISC and it would be great if as many club members there as possible. The Presidents Cup team will be playing Western after so you can get a double whammy of hockey.
Can the 3rds be the first team to bring home some silverware this season? Get yourself along to find out. Hopefully we will see you there.

Another win for the 2nd team
The second team put in another good performance on sunday, recording a 3-1 win over Watsonians. The game was 0-0 at half time with goalkeeper Fiona Allison called into action on a number of occasions. Debbie McLeod and Carrie Clement also made some great tackles at the back. It was Watsonians who scored the first goal of the game early in the second half. But Grove stuck to their game plan and pulled one back after some great build up play. A further two goals were scored to seel the 3-1 victory as Grove started to dominant the game. Susan Nicol did well to finish the game following a ball to the face and credit goes to forwards Susan Graham, Lizzie Bush and Stacy Bookless who worked well together in the second half to create a number of chances.
